I've been burning the candle on both ends in an attempt to reach my goals.
I have the energy for it, so when the fire on the ends reaches the middle, I'll be set!
Defeat is a temporary feeling that comes to all of us who aspire to dream big and manifest our vision into reality.
Persistence to move through and/or around defeat, without losing the grand vision, is how the mission is achieved. No genius mind or plan has ever gone on to become a great work without accepting defeat at times.
Last Sunday while my show was "on-air" I pissed off a closed-minded person.
He claimed that I was "preaching" and telling people how to live their lives.
My boss gave me a stern talking to and asked me to dance around my subjects without giving proscriptions to our audience. He's a believer in me and knows what we're up against in terms of censorship.
We are not allowed to discuss political or religious matters on-air. Yet, it's what dictates so many aspects of our lives - I'm to stick to the music.
My show is called Psychedelic Love Talk. My thoughts are if you don't like what you're hearing, in regards to plants and how they serve our bodies and minds, then change the station!
I was preaching about the plant and fungi world.
I was sharing stories about how Mother Nature heals all who come to Her with humble hearts and open minds.
It seems like there is a war against the feminine principles of life. Mother Nature has taken a beating for some time, and few really care. I care enough for all who don't.
The person who complained had neither a humble heart, nor an open mind. He's a negative person. Yuck.
Oh, but he loved the music I was playing. Thanks buddy, glad I can serve you in the way you're comfortable.
It's funny because I've gotten amazing feedback about my show. I make funnies and play music that stirs the heart and soul, with the intention of getting people to make more love.
People have called in to tell me their stories about how the plant and fungi world has changed their lives, and I am greatful for them, because it is not easy putting myself out there on topics that are unpopular due to institutional censorship and propaganda.
Out of all the encouraging and positive feedback I've gotten, it only takes one closed-minded person to cause feelings of defeat.
I took no issue with the feedback - they're entitled to their opinion, but what I take issue with is having to adhere to guidelines that limit free-speech. My boss told me to play it safe, and since I don't own the station I have to listen to what my boss says. I'm feeling really envious of Oprah right now.
What I talk about on my show is health, and love and illumination. I tell stories that open the mind and connect the soul, all supported by the foundation of MUSIC!!!
They say that the squeaky wheel gets the oil, but in this case the squeaky wheel gets my middle finger.
